A Global Academic Resource Hub

Based on COPE Principles
ISSN 3042-4399 | U7Y.com

U7Y.com adheres strictly to the ethical standards recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The following guidelines apply to all parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, peer reviewers, and the publisher—to ensure transparency, accountability, and academic integrity.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

1.1 Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must submit original work. Plagiarism in any form—including self-plagiarism or uncredited copying—is unethical and unacceptable. Proper citation of all sources is mandatory.

1.2 Authorship and Contribution

Only individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the research should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final version before submission.

1.3 Data Integrity and Reproducibility

Authors must ensure that data is accurately represented and available for verification upon request. Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data is strictly prohibited.

1.4 Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

Any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts of interest must be disclosed at the time of submission.

1.5 Acknowledgement of Sources

All external sources—texts, data, funding, or technical assistance—must be properly acknowledged.

1.6 Multiple and Redundant Submissions

Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is not accepted.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

2.1 Editorial Independence

Editors must make decisions based on the manuscript’s intellectual merit, not on commercial or political factors.

2.2 Confidentiality

Editors must treat all submissions as confidential and must not disclose any part of a manuscript to anyone other than reviewers and authorized editorial staff.

2.3 Conflict of Interest

Editors must recuse themselves from reviewing or editing submissions in which they have a conflict of interest.

2.4 Fair Review Process

All manuscripts must be evaluated without bias regarding the authors’ race, gender, institutional affiliation, or nationality.

2.5 Handling Misconduct

Editors are responsible for investigating allegations of misconduct and following COPE’s recommended procedures.

3. Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers

3.1 Contribution to Editorial Decision

Peer reviewers provide critical assessment and feedback that aids editors in making publication decisions.

3.2 Confidentiality

All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.

3.3 Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted objectively and constructively, avoiding personal criticism of the author.

3.4 Acknowledgment of Sources

Reviewers must identify relevant published work that the authors have not cited and report any suspicion of plagiarism.

3.5 Conflict of Interest

Reviewers should not evaluate manuscripts in which they have personal or professional conflicts of interest.

4. Publisher’s Responsibilities

  • Uphold editorial independence.

  • Ensure publication integrity and transparent retraction or correction policies.

  • Maintain digital preservation of all content.

  • Support authors, editors, and reviewers in following ethical best practices.

5. Misconduct and Retraction Policy

U7Y.com follows COPE’s flowcharts and protocols for dealing with:

  • Plagiarism

  • Data manipulation

  • Duplicate publication

  • Author disputes

  • Unethical research practices

When misconduct is proven, the article may be retracted or corrected, and the parties involved will be informed.

6. Ethical Oversight and Complaints

Complaints regarding ethical misconduct can be submitted directly to the editorial office. All complaints will be handled in accordance with COPE’s procedures.

7. Post-Publication Responsibilities

Authors and editors must collaborate in issuing corrections, clarifications, or retractions when necessary. U7Y.com is committed to transparency and will update articles when errors are identified.

Corrections and Retractions Policy

U7Y Journal follows the ethical publishing standards and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding corrections, retractions, and removal of published material.

If an article requires correction due to a minor error that does not affect the overall findings, a corrigendum or erratum will be published as soon as possible, clearly linked to the original article.

In cases of significant errors, plagiarism, or research misconduct, the editorial team may issue a retraction notice, which will remain permanently linked to the original article to ensure transparency and integrity of the academic record.

The decision to issue a correction or retraction will be made by the Editor-in-Chief following COPE guidelines and after consultation with relevant reviewers or authors.
