Publication Fees and Editorial Services

At Unveiling Seven Continents Yearbook Journal (U7Y Journal), we are committed to maintaining rigorous peer review, editorial integrity, and sustainable open-access publishing. Editorial evaluation and peer-review coordination are conducted by qualified academics and require professional time and administrative resources.

Editorial Evaluation and Processing Fee

An Editorial Evaluation and Processing Fee of CHF 2,000 applies to manuscripts of up to 10,000 words. This fee supports professional editorial assessment, coordination of peer review, and administrative processing.

Payment of this fee does not guarantee acceptance. All editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of scholarly merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with ethical and academic standards.

For manuscripts accepted for publication, the Editorial Evaluation and Processing Fee is credited toward the Article Processing Charge (APC).

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Upon formal acceptance, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to cover publication, online hosting, DOI registration, open-access dissemination, and long-term digital preservation.

The APC is calculated at CHF 1 per word, with a minimum of CHF 1,900 and a maximum cap of CHF 4,900 per article.

No Hidden Charges

There are no additional fees for colour figures, tables, supplementary materials, or reference lists. All accepted manuscripts receive the same level of editorial and production support.

Waivers and Discounts

The journal does not apply automatic waivers. In exceptional cases, fee adjustments may be considered at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.

Payment and Currency

All fees are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and are payable to ISBM AG, Switzerland, upon issuance of the official invoice.

Editorial Independence

Editorial and peer-review decisions are made independently of financial considerations. Fees support operational sustainability and do not influence manuscript evaluation outcomes.
