Publication Fees

At Unveiling Seven Continents Yearbook Journal (U7Y Journal), we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of peer review, editorial integrity, and open-access dissemination. To sustain these operations, certain publication-related fees apply as outlined below.

Submission Fee

The submission fee for each paper is 2000 CHF (up to 10,000 words).
This fee covers the administrative costs associated with the initial review and evaluation process, including plagiarism screening, editorial assessment, and coordination with our panel of academic reviewers.

• In the event that a paper is not accepted by the editorial committee, 50% of the submission fee (1000 CHF) will be refunded to the author.

• This ensures fair compensation while upholding a rigorous and independent review process.

• The fee supports the journal’s commitment to thorough and unbiased evaluation by qualified experts.

Publication Fee (Article Processing Charge – APC)

Upon formal acceptance of the manuscript, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to cover the costs of publication, online hosting, indexing, digital preservation, and long-term access to the article under our open-access policy.

The APC is calculated as follows:

1 CHF per word,
with a minimum of 1,900 CHF and a maximum cap of 4,900 CHF per article.

This pricing structure ensures fairness and proportionality based on article length and complexity, while maintaining affordability and transparency for authors.

No Hidden Charges

There are no additional fees for colour figures, tables, supplementary materials, or reference lists. All accepted papers receive equal editorial and production support regardless of length or subject area.

Waivers and Discounts

Currently, the journal does not offer automatic waivers. 

​

Payment and Currency

All fees are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and are payable to ISBM AG, Switzerland, upon issuance of the official invoice following submission or acceptance.

Editorial Independence

All editorial and peer-review decisions are made independently of financial considerations. Fees are solely intended to support operational sustainability and do not influence the outcome of manuscript evaluation.
