To promote high-quality research and support global academic contribution, the Unveiling Seven Continents Yearbook Journal (U7Y Journal) is pleased to announce the Research Excellence Awards 2027.

These awards will recognize the best scholarly papers published in the journal during the 2026 publication year.
Winners will be announced in March 2027.

🏆 Award Categories

USD 20,000 – First Prize
Best Paper of the Year (2026)
USD 10,000 – Second Prize
USD 5,000 – Third Prize

In addition to the financial award, all three winners will have all fees they paid to submit or publish their paper in U7Y fully refunded.

📌 Eligibility

All authors whose papers are published in any 2026 issue of U7Y Journal are automatically considered.
No separate application or nomination is required.

📌 Selection Criteria

To qualify for consideration:

The paper must be published in any U7Y Journal issue during calendar year 2026.
The paper must be peer-reviewed and accepted through the standard editorial process.
All article types are eligible, including:
- Research articles
- Review papers
- Case studies
- Conceptual papers
- Short communications
Co-authored papers are permitted.
There is no separate application; all eligible papers are automatically included in the selection process.

Evaluation & Selection Criteria

The Editorial Board evaluates each eligible paper based on:

Academic Merit

Originality and innovation of the topic
Theoretical contribution or advancement of knowledge
Methodological rigor and clarity
Quality of data, analysis, and conclusions

Scholarly Impact

Potential to influence future research
Relevance to academic and professional communities
Contribution to global knowledge across continents

Quality of Writing & Presentation

Structure, coherence, and clarity
Proper referencing and academic integrity
Compliance with U7Y Journal standards

Ethical Standards

Compliance with international scholarly ethics
Absence of plagiarism or misconduct
Transparency of data and findings

The Editorial Board’s decision is final.

Award Process

Timeline

Eligibility Period: 1 January – 31 December 2026
Review & Evaluation: January – February 2027
Announcement: March 2027

📅 Announcement Date

The award results will be published on the U7Y Journal website in March 2027.

Rights & Obligations

Awarded papers remain fully open access under CC BY 4.0 licensing.
Recipients may publicly list the award for academic CVs, promotions, or institutional reporting.
U7Y Journal reserves the right to:
- Feature winning papers for promotional purposes
- Highlight authors’ profiles and research impact
The awards do not influence editorial decisions for future submissions.
The award may be withheld if no paper meets the minimum academic criteria.

Transparency

The selection process is conducted solely by the U7Y Editorial Board with full editorial independence, following academic ethics and international standards of scholarly publishing.
