Abstract and Poster Explanation

The various stages of modern research can be augmented and improved with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies across nearly every contributing factor. AI assistance is already integrated into literature research, research design, data collection and analysis, drafting and refining research papers, documenting analysis, and disseminating research findings. AI technology can be a resource for managing data. For research dissemination, it can support the structuring and drafting of findings in a clear and understandable manner. The numerous applications of AI can be a boon to research productivity.

AI can assist in managing the complexity of the research task, as it allows the researcher to rapidly analyze and present findings. However, the researcher must still exercise judgment in determining the originality, accuracy, and ethical value of the research. The poster identifies the human element in research as providing oversight, critical examination, and commitment to ethical practice. Using AI responsibly can elevate the quality of research to a significant extent, and when combined with the human element, may help explore research questions that were previously difficult to address.

The poster makes a positive claim about AI partnerships and productivity in research. AI can encourage quality research while also improving efficiency when used with ethically sound practices. It also suggests that partnerships between AI and researchers should remain careful, responsible, and human-centered. In this way, trust and ethics in research are preserved while AI promotes innovation.
